Songs To Your Eyes
The short version: this service has no accounts, sets no cookies, and stores nothing that identifies you.
What this service is. mcp.songstoyoureyes.com lets AI assistants search the Songs To Your Eyes production-music catalogue and play audio previews. It is operated by Songs To Your Eyes ("we").
What we collect. To improve the catalogue, we log each search: which tool was used, the text of the music brief and any filters (e.g. genre or duration), how many results came back and which was first, how long the search took, and the time. We also log which tracks' preview pages and audio are opened, and when. These logs contain no IP address, no user identifier, no account, no session and no cookie — there is nothing in them that ties a query to a person. Apart from the feedback described below, which you have to ask for, we do not receive or store any other part of your conversation with your AI assistant.
Feedback you choose to send. One tool, and only one, sends us something you have written: if you ask your assistant to send the catalogue team feedback about a result, we store the message you asked it to send, along with the search brief and the track it concerns, the kind of feedback it is, and the time. The tool refuses to send anything unless you have explicitly agreed to it, and it is never called on its own. These records carry no IP address, no user identifier, no account and no session — if your message names you, that is the only way we would know who wrote it. We read them to improve the catalogue and its search, and we do not share them.
Infrastructure. Requests pass through our hosting providers (Fly.io for the server, Supabase for the database, Cloudflare for audio storage), which process standard connection data (such as IP addresses) transiently to deliver the service and protect it from abuse, under their own privacy policies. We apply per-IP rate limiting in memory only; those counters are discarded within minutes and are never written to storage.
Search interpretation. When a music brief has not been searched before, we send its text to Google's Gemini API, which turns it into catalogue terms (moods, instruments, styles) under Google's own API terms. Only the brief and our own fixed instructions are sent: no IP address, no identifier and nothing else from your conversation. To answer the same brief faster next time, we keep its text with that interpretation in a search cache, which carries no identifier either.
Retention. Search logs, preview logs and feedback messages are deleted automatically 24 months after they are recorded, and search-cache entries 24 months after they were last used. We may delete them sooner.
Your choices. Because these records carry no identifier, we cannot look up the searches a particular person made. If you sent feedback and want it deleted before then, email info@songstoyoureyes.com with roughly when you sent it and what it said, and we will delete it. Feedback is only ever sent when you ask for it, and you can decline when your assistant asks.
Sharing. We do not sell any collected data, and we do not share it with third parties beyond the service providers named above.

Children. The service is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.
Changes. We will post any changes to this policy on this page.
